Wherever high piece rates accumulate in a short time, either in production or distribution, buffer zones must be flexible enough to cope with the varying volumes. The 763 system provides a speedy and clearly organised movement of goods to and from the storage area. The control and organisation of the flow of goods shortens truck loading and unloading time.
The 763 system is a single-rail overhead conveyor on which trolleys can be transported manually, semi-automatically or fully-automatically.
The overhead trolley conveyor is a flexible conveyor system that is mounted on the ceiling (off-floor) and with which goods can be transported, sorted or buffered. It comes into play wherever high volumes of goods have to be moved. Goods can be counted, checked, labelled and picked in the buffer storage within complex warehouse or distribution systems.
